Driving out

1 Drive front axle shaft (60) out of the intermediate shaft (arrow) using a suitable drift punch.


Do not damage plastic protective ring, rubber boots and speed sensor rotor. If necessary cover steering knuckle and front axle carrier with cloths.

Pressing in

2 Check circlip in front axle shaft groove and replace if necessary.

3 Press in front axle shaft (60), aligning the joint so that it is horizontal to prevent tilting the splines.
