Disassemble

Remove the ring gear with the differential from the front axle housing

Remove the tapered roller bearings (1) (12)

Disassemble the ring gear (10) from the differential

Before removing the ring gear, mark its assembling position in the satellite box.

Disassemble the satellite box (13)

Check

Wash the parts and check them for wearing

Replace the worn parts. Grease the parts in the assembling.

Eliminate eventual burrs in the bolts seating surface in the satellite box and, if you are going to reuse the self-locking bolts, clean their locking surface with a steel brush.
