Remove left or right front wheel

Unscrew nut (1) of transverse control arm (5) on flange ball joint (4)

 Counterhold bolts on flange ball joint (4) using a fork wrench or box wrench.



Use puller to press flange ball joint (4) off transverse control arm (5)



Detach clamp (6) of stabilizer (7) from transverse control arm (5)

 Installation: Tighten nut of clamp (6) on empty vehicle only (approx. 75 kg curb weight on driver seat and full tank or approx. 20 kg curb weight in front-passsenger area).

Insert clamp (6) at a right angle to stabilizer.



Unscrew bolts (8, 10) of transverse control arm (5)

 Installation: Tighten bolts (8, 10) on empty vehicle only (approx. 75 kg curb weight on driver seat and full tank or approx. 20 kg curb weight in front-passsenger area).



Unscrew nut (3) from transverse control arm (5)

 Installation: Tighten nut (3) on empty vehicle only (approx. 75 kg curb weight on driver seat and full tank or approx. 20 kg curb weight in front-passsenger area).



Unscrew nut (2) from link rod (9)

 Counterhold link rod (9) with the tool assortment for stabilizer assembly.



Remove transverse control arm (5)

 Transverse control arms (5) must always be replaced in pairs.
