Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.

Remove engine compartment lining from center and front.

Remove brake caliper with connected brake hose, place to one side and fix in place.

Unhook electrical line for brakepad wear sensor at front on steering knuckle (1).

When removing right front-axle half.

Remove rpm sensor at steering knuckle (1) and unclip electric line at steering knuckle (1).

Remove suspension strut (2) at spring link (3).

Remove tie rod (4) at steering knuckle (1).


The ball head must be counterheld and an impact wrench/driver must not be used.
Otherwise, the ball head or steering knuckle (1) may be damaged.

Install guard plate for brake cover plate.

Support steering knuckle (1) using telescopic lifter and transmission plate then secure with tensioning strap against falling down.

Remove screw for front axle shafts.
