Remove/install

Lift vehicle using inspection pit lift or workshop jack

Support with jack stands.

Detach brake wear indicator (5) from brake caliper

Replace screw/bolt (4)

Remove brake hose from the brake line.

Press off drag link at steering arm

Replace cotter pin (12).

Detach shock absorber from front axle (1)

Install new nut (15).

Detach torsion bar from front axle (1)

Install new nut (16). Check the condition of the rubber mount; replace if necessary.

Detach leaf springs from front axle (1)

Install new nut (10).

Lower front axle (1) slowly using inspection pit lift or vehicle jack

Installation: Bring front axle (1) into the installation position using jack.

Install in the reverse order
