Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Release pressure in ABC system using diagnostic system

Remove front axle ABC valve unit (Y36/1) with pressure reservoir (1)

Detach bracket (2) from front axle ABC valve unit (Y36/1)

 Bolt, bracket to front valve unit

Clamp front axle ABC valve unit (Y36/1) with pressure reservoir (1) in vise

 Use soft vise jaws.



Clean

Clean area around connecting point of pressure reservoir (1) to front axle ABC valve unit (Y36/1)

 Only use clean, lint free rags and cleaner free of mineral oil.

Unscrew pressure reservoir (1) from front axle ABC valve unit (Y36/1)

 Pressure reservoir at front valve unit

Dispose of pressure reservoir (1) properly

When replacing pressure reservoir (1)

Install in the reverse order

Fill and bleed ABC system
