Read out coding from rear axle level control system control unit (N97) using STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system

 Only when the rear axle level control system control unit (N97) is replaced and if it can still be read out using the STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system.



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Remove front floor covering

 Right side of vehicle

Remove impact absorber (1)

Unscrew nuts (2, 4) and remove clips (3)

 Installation: Do not mix up nuts (2) and nuts (4).

 Installation: Pay attention to correct seat of clips (3)

Remove intermediate bottom (5)

Disconnect electrical connector (6)

Unscrew nut (7), bolt (8) and rear axle level control system control unit (N97)

Install in the reverse order

Code the rear axle level control system control unit (N97) by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system

 Only when installing a new rear axle level control system control unit (N97).



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Check vehicle level at front and rear axle by means of STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system, adjust and store normal level in the rear axle level control system control unit (N97) again

 Only when installing a new rear axle level control system control unit (N97).
