Remove front section of fender liner in left front fender

Disconnect electrical connector (1) from AIRmatic pressure sensor (B7)

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from AIRmatic central reservoir charge valve (Y36/6)

Mark and disconnect pressure line connections (HA, P, SP, VL, VR)

To ensure flawless performance from the suspension observe the routing of the pressure lines.

Seal off pressure lines with blind plugs for the duration of the repair work.

Installation: Before assembly, damaged pressure line connections (HA, P, SP, VL, VR) or damaged pressure lines must be repaired.

Unscrew bolts (3) and remove AIRmatic central reservoir charge valve (Y36/6)

Install in the reverse order

Fill AIRmatic system using STAR DIAGNOSIS

During charging the wheels should not be in contact with the ground, as the spring elements in the air spring bellows would be destroyed if pressurized with the suspension compressed.

Check AIRmatic for leaks.
