Risk of injuries due to being smashed or caught when working in the pneumatic suspension. | Do not work between the wheels and the running area or wheel box. Perform test and adjustment services only by the bottom part of the vehicle with the help of a workshop pit. Fence safety the access to the areas where there are pieces in motion. | |

| Indications for lifting and supporting the vehicle on racks | ||
| Remove and install | ||
1 | Lift the rear part of the vehicle and support the chassis frame | Choke the vehicle to avoid its moving. | |
2 | Empty the pneumatic suspension bellows (4) | ||
3 | Remove the pressure sensors (B54 / B55) at both sides of the drive axle | Only with Code (IA3) 6x2 drive vehicles. | |
| Indications about the compressed air connection systems | ||
4 | Remove the connector (2) and the compressed air tubes (1) from the bellows (4) | With connection system by compressed air "VOSS 230". | |
With connection system by compressed air "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6). | |||
Install: Check the O-rings. Replace them if necessary. | |||
5 | Remove the connection sleeve nut (3) from the pneumatic suspension bellows (3) | | |
6 | Remove the bolt (6) from the pneumatic suspension support and remove the bellows (4) with the piston (5) | | |
7 | Install in reverse order | ||
8 | Check the tightness of the pneumatic suspension |
