1 | Disconnect the trailer lighting electrical connector (1) and trailer ABS unit electrical connector (2) | ||
2 | Disconnect trailer rear lamp electrical connector (3) from trailer integration system | ||
3 | Remove emergency brake pipes (supply line) (4) from integration system | By using 24 mm open-end spanner. | |
4 | Remove service brake pipes (control line) (5) from trailer integration system | ||
5 | Remove rear lamp (6) from trailer integration system | By using 17 mm ring spanner. | |
Installation: By using 17 mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |||
6 | Remove rear lamp bracket (7) from trailer integration system | By using 17 mm ring spanner. | |
By using 17 mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |||
7 | Disconnect the 7 pins socket (8) and dummy socket (9) for trailer lighting and for trailer ABS unit | Always connect the electrical connection on dummy sockets when not connected to trailer. | |
8 | Remove the electrical coupler (10) from trailer integration system | Install the electrical coupler to the trailer integration system | |
9 | Remove electrical wiring harness tags (11) from the trailer integration system bracket | ||
10 | Remove trailer integration system (12) from chassis bracket | By using 18 mm hexagonal socket and ratchet. | |
Installation: By using 18 mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |||
Install trailer integration system to the chassis bracket | |||
11 | Remove both side chassis bracket (13) from chassis | By using 21 mm hexagonal socket and ratchet. | |
Installation: By using 21 mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |||
Install both side chassis bracket to the chassis | |||
12 | Install in the reverse order |
