Open cover in paneling at left side in luggage compartment or load compartment

Unlock ball neck

The light-emitting diode (arrow) starts to flash at the trailer hitch release (A63) when the ball neck is not engaged. A warning message appears in the instrument cluster.

Engage ball neck in one of the two end positions

Light-emitting diode at trailer hitch release (A63) goes out. The warning message in the instrument cluster disappears.
