Do not disconnect electric cables. | |||
5 | Remove bracket of rear SAM control unit from body | MODEL 164.1 up to 30.06.09, MODEL 164.8 | |
Installation: Route wiring harness for trailer hitch socket (1) under the bracket. | |||
6 | Remove fuse holder (1.1) from load compartment's fuse and relay box (F4) | ||
7 | Detach electrical connection (1.2) | ||
8 | Detach ground line from ground connection on right trunk wheel arch (W7) | ||
9 | Detach electrical connection (1.4) | ||
10 | Detach wiring harness for trailer hitch socket (1) in vehicle interior | ||
11 | Remove grommet (1.3) from body | Installation: | |
12 | Remove wiring harness for trailer hitch socket (1) through the opening in the body | ||
13 | Install in the reverse order | ||

14 | Perform function test of light signals at trailer hitch socket | ||
