Store parameters for drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

Only if the drive control (FR) control unit (A3) is replaced.

Remove paneling at top for instrument panel on the passenger side

Disconnect electrical connectors (1) from drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

Remove drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

To do this, press drive control (FR) control unit (A3) into rear bracket and unclip from front bracket from above.

Install

Install drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

Attach electrical connectors (1) on drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

Install paneling at top for instrument panel on the passenger side

Transfer parameters and teach in drive control (FR) control unit (A3)

Only if the drive control (FR) control unit (A3) was replaced.

Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis

Switch off ignition
