Remove/install

Unhook adjustment cable (1) on slotted lever (2) and bearing bracket adjustment (3)

Unhook adjustment cable (1) from accelerator pedal (5)

Note distance "a" and installation position of holding clip (6)

Pull adjustment cable (1) out of rubber bumper (4) in firewall and remove engine compartment

Check condition of rubber bumper (4), replace if necessary. Coat inside of rubber bumper (4) with grease

Install in the reverse order
