Remove transfer case

Mount transfer case on assembly stand using support plate.

Remove flange - rear axle drive (12)



 Check radial shaft sealing ring

If damage is present 

Replace radial shaft sealing rings

Unscrew bolts (14) (10 pieces)



Pry off transmission cover (15)

 Pry transmission cover evenly off the transmission housing (16) otherwise the grooved ball bearing will tilt over

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and coat with sealant

Install in the reverse order

Pour in transmission oil up to the bottom edge of the filler opening (7)



 Perform a road test and correct transmission oil level again.

Check transfer case for leaks
