1 2 mounting screws (arrow) remain in the transmission housing, unscrew the other mounting screws for the transmission housing.

2 Turn the transfer case so that the front transmission housing (2) points upwards and put down the transfer case on 3 wooden blocks.
3 Unscrew the 2 remaining mounting screws.
4 Remove front transmission housing (2) from rear transmission housing.
