1 | Remove plugs (17) and (18) and drain gearbox oil | Collect oil in an adequate container and discard it ecologically. | |
2 | Remove screws from entrance (2) and exit (3) flanges to the front axle and exit (4) to the rear axle | Make reference marks on flanges for the front and rear axles. | |
3 | Remove electrical connection (5) of the front axle coupling tell-tale lamp switch | ||
4 | Release hollow screws and apart from connection (6), (7) and (8) the command pneumatic piping | The hollow screws correspond to connections (21), (22) and (23) of the pneumatic schemes. | |

5 | Remove the speedometer cable (9) from angular transmission | ||
6 | Place a jack or an elevator under the transfer case (1) and slightly lever it | ||
7 | Remove from all four fixation bushings the nuts (11), bushings inferior covers (12) and remove it from the vehicle | ||
8 | Remove upper bushings covers (12), screws (10) and shims (13) | ||
9 | Remove from transfer case sustaining axles the lock rings (16), the stop washers (15) and the cushions (14) | ||
| Install | ||
10 | Install on transfer case (1) sustaining axles the new washers (14), the stop washers (15) and the lock rings (16) | ||
11 | Put transfer case (1) on a jack or an elevator and place it under vehicle on mounting position | Install shims (13), screws (10) and upper bushing covers (12). | |
12 | Lever transfer case until the rubber cushions (14) touch the upper bushings | Install bushing covers and firmly tighten the nuts (11). | |
13 | Install pneumatic piping on the connections (7) | Correspond connections (23), (22) and (21) on the pneumatic schemes. | |

14 | Make the electrical connection (5) of the front axle coupling tell-tale lamp switch | ||
15 | Install on flange (4) of the transfer case the rear axle transmission shaft On flange (3) the front axle shaft On flange (2) the gearbox shaft | Verify if the marks made during disassemble are corresponded, then place screws and tighten them equally and in cross, to assure flanges to settle. Then apply final tightening strength. | |

16 | Install the speedometer cable (9) on the angular transmission | ||
17 | Fill transfer case in with specified oil, until reaching inferior filling plug mark | Apply specified torque to the draining plugs (17) and filling plugs (18). | |
