1 | Remove the engine bottom liner underneath the gearbox | ||
2 | Remove the gearbox maintenance hatchet | ||
Danger! | Risk of injuries on skin and eyes caused by burns from hot coolant splashes. Risk of poisoning by coolant ingestion | Open the cooling system only when the coolant temperature is below 90 ºC. Slowly unscrew the cap and let the excess pressure out. Do not utilize beverage containers or similar to keep coolant.Use protection gloves, clothes and goggles. | |
4 | Draining coolant | To do so unscrew the radiator drain plug and catch the coolant in a suitable container | |
Installing: Replace the sealing ring. | |||
Install the drain plug. Fill with coolant with the required quantity (according to the quantity removed), take in consideration the specified quantity. | |||
5 | Loosen the coolant connections fastening clamps of the oil cooler (13) and remove the coolant flexible pipes | Installing: Check the fastening clamps for condition and, if necessary, replace them. Confirm the correct seating of the coolant flexible pipes. | |
6 | Remove the gearbox oil drain plug and completely drain the oil | Catch the oil in a suitable container. | |
Installing: Replace the sealing ring. | |||
Fill the gearbox with oil. | |||

7 | Remove the hex head bolt (5) and remove the gearbox oil pipe support (4) | Installing: Replace the safety nut. | |

8 | Remove the oil cooler (6) from the respective bracket (12) | Installing: Replace the elastic washers. | |

9 | Remove the bolts (2) from the gearbox (1) joining piece | ||

10 | Remove the complete oil pipe (3) with the gearbox (1) joining piece and the oil cooler (6) | Installing: Apply the gasket with petroleum jelly to the joining piece. | |
11 | Remove the oil pipe support from the joining piece and the support of the oil cooler pipe (8) | | |

12 | Remove the oil pipe from the connection piece (1) and the oil cooler (6) | Do not utilize a hammer to assemble the oil pipes. | |
Installing: Replace the sealing rings and smear them lightly with petroleum jelly. | |||
Installation of the oil pipes is done only with the connection piece and the oil cooler disassembled. | |||
