Remove oil pan

Remove suction screen (2)

Detach flange (1) and remove oil guide pipe

 To facilitate removal of oil pump.



Pull inductive sensor off oil pump (3)

Transmission 721.407

Unscrew and remove the oil pump (3)

 Installation:

The play between the drive gear (5) of the oil pump (3) and the intermediate gear (4) must be maintained.

If the play is too small:

Install shims under both sides of the oil pump.
