Fasten removed transmission to assembly stand

 Mount support fixture (2) on engine assembly stand (3) and tighten bolts (4).

 Mount lifting device (9) at transmission housing.

 Make sure that the   lifting device (9) is seated correctly in the cutouts of the transmission housing (arrow); check this by rattling the   lifting device (9).
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Attach lifting device (9) to boom crane.

Place transmission on  support fixture (2) so that the bores of the transmission and  support fixture (2) line up with each other.

Fit and tighten screws (12).

 Detach lifting device (9) from transmission.
