1 Slacken ball joint end (3) of front gate support (2) at adjusting eccentric (4).
2 Slacken adjusting eccentric (4) at shift rod (1).
3 Turn adjusting eccentric (4) of front gate support (2) until gearshift lever is positioned free of tension at probe of adjusting device.
To test, lift the probe and release. The probe must align with the center of the upper centering hole in the shift lever.
4 Recheck adjustment of front gate support (2); correct if necessary.
5 Tighten adjusting eccentric (4) and ball joint end (3) of front gate support (2).
