 	Remove/install
1	Unhook shift cables		AR26.60-S-6627-01A
2	Shift transmission into neutral
3	Unscrew idle fixing pins of shift shaft (1)		AR26.60-S-6540A
4	Unscrew and remove bolts (3) of gate guide (2) from transmission housing	 Installation: Insert plastic part (arrow) of gate guide (2) into notch of shift shaft (1).

		Loctite 243	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A
5	Unscrew bolts (3) of shift shaft (1) from transmission housing	 Shift shaft (1) can be pried out at the notches in the cover (arrows).

		Loctite 243	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A
6	Remove shift shaft (1)	 Shift shaft (1) can be pried out at the notches in the cover (arrows).  Coat sealing surfaces with sealing compound. The guide pins (5) must engage in the notch in the shift lock (4). The notches (arrows) in the cover must point to the front and rear.

7	Install in the reverse order

8	Check leaktightness of shift shaft (1)
