Remove and install

Remove the rear part of the gearbox

Remove the shift

Electro-pneumatic shift (EPS) code G61.

Remove the lock (1) from the straightened reverse gear rod (6)

Unhook the rectified shift rods (6, 7, 8) and remove them, one after the other

Remove the shift selection forks of the reverse gear (2), 1st and 2nd gears (3) and 3rd and 4th gears (4)

 Pull the selection forks and the rectified rods a little bit out of the main shaft. Unhook the forks from the rods and remove them.

Unscrew the selection fork articulation pins of the 5th and 6th gears (5) from the gearbox front part

Install: Renew the pins (if they are of the micro-encapsulated thread type) or apply a chemical bond.

Remove the 5th and 6 th gear selection fork (5)

In order to remove the selection fork, it is necessary to remove the main and counter shafts.

Remove the main shaft and the counter shaft

Separate the sliding pads (9) from the shift selection forks (2, 3, 4)

Install: Ensure that the sliding pads are correctly seated on the selector forks. Oil slightly the pads.

Clean all the parts, check for damages and wear and replace them if necessary

Install in reverse order
