Remove/install oil pump and pressure relief valve

Removing and installing

Remove gearbox rear cover

Remove the valve element (7), turning it gently to the right or left

Clean beforehand the separation surface between the case and the valve element (7).

Remove, one by one, the overpressure valve components from the drilling

Install: Align the valve element (7) so the expansion pin (9) is positioned beside the molded groove (arrow) in the case of gearbox rear part.

Remove the expansion pin (9) from the valve element (7)

Remove the O-rings from the valve actuators (2, 6)

Install: Install lightly oiled new rings.

Separate the oil pump external body (15) from the gearbox rear part

Install: Observe the correct installation position of the oil pump external case (15).



Remove the gear wheels (13, 14) from the countershaft one after the other

Remove gearbox rear part

Strike a driver from inside out and remove the oil pump internal case (12)

Remove the compensating washer (11) and the cylindrical pin (16) from gearbox rear part

Install: When installing a new oil pump, observe the thickness of the new compensating washer

Determine the compensating washer for the oil pump.

Caliper gauge with 200 mm capacity and 0,01mm reading

Depth gauge with dial gauge

Clean all parts, check them for damage and replace what needs to be replaced

Install in reverse order
