1 Clamp main shaft in vise with protective jaws.
Input end uppermost.
2 Remove clutch body (38) and synchronizer ring (37).
Remove clutch body (38) and synchronizer ring (37) from input shaft (41) if necessary.

3 Remove locking ring (39) using pliers.
4 Pull off synchronizer cone with clutch body (arrows) using puller and remove 5th/6th gear synchronizer unit (52).

5 Remove synchronizer ring (31) and clutch body (30).
6 Remove idler gear for 6th gear (29) and 6th gear needle bearing (28).
7 Turn main shaft (27) over and clamp in vise with protective jaws.
Input end at the bottom.

8 Pull off idler gear for 1st gear (11) using puller (53) and jaw (54).

9 Remove reverse gear synchronizer assembly (50).
10 Remove synchronizer ring (6) and idler gear for reverse gear (7).

11 Remove reverse gear needle bearing (8) and sleeve (9).
12 Remove thrust washer (10), idler gear for 1st gear (11) and 1st gear needle bearing (12).

13 Remove friction ring (13), cone ring (14) and synchronizer ring (15).
14 Remove locking ring (16) using pliers.
15 Pull off 1st/2nd gear synchronizer assembly (51) using puller.

16 Remove synchronizer ring (22), cone ring (23) and friction ring (24).
17 Remove idler gear for 2nd gear (25) and 2nd gear needle bearing (26).
18 Remove main shaft from vise.
