Remove the gearbox rear part

Remove the gearbox front housing

Remove the input shaft (1)

Unscrew the bolt (2) and remover the oil catcher (3)



Remove the bolt (4) and the lock of the reverse gear intermediate gear shaft



Utilizing an appropriate mandrel, remove the reverse gear intermediate gear shaft (5)

Install: heat-up the housing of the shaft (5) before assembling it

Remove the intermediate reverse gear (6) together with its bearings

Install: lightly lubricate the bearings before installing them

Remove the countershaft (12), utilizing a hook of own manufacture

Remove the actuation fork of the 3rd and 4th gears (7) together with the shifting sleeve

Cover the shifting sleeve with a cloth, as the pressing pieces may be cast by spring action of the same

Remove the central selector bar (8)

With an appropriate punch, remove the lock pins (9) from the selector bar of the 1st/2nd gears

Remove the 1st and 2nd gears (10)

Installing: before this assembly make sure the selector of the reverse gear/9th gear (11) is in neutral position

Remove the main shaft. Will be removed, also, the selector bar of the reverse gear/9th gear (11)

Installing: before beginning the assembly, check the position of the selector bars lock-pins. They must be so that they do not impede the assembly of the selector bars


