Remove the splitter group cylinder

Remove the pressure tubes (6) hollow bolts (5) from the planetary group actuation cylinder

Installation: change the washers (7).

Remover from gearbox housing the retaining pin (1) and the switch (2)

Installation:Put sealing compound on the threads of the retaining pin and switch.

 Do not mistake the planetary group's retaining pin for the splitter group retaining pin.

Remove the bolts (3) that fasten the rear semi-housing (4)



Remove the planetary gear set together with the semi-housing (4)

 Take care not to damage the sun gear's lubrication tube.

Fasten a hook at the place indicated by the arrow and lift the complete set with the help of a derrick type hoist. Separate the contact surfaces uniformly, using two levers.

 During the installation, replace the sealing joint (8).

Install: Observe that the planetary and splitter group selection bars fit in their respective lodgings. Check also, the correct engagement of the sun gear with the planetary gears.



Check the condition of the guide pins and their respective orifices in the housing
