Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Remove reversing lamp switch (S16/2).

 Collect escaping transmission oil.

 Installation: Remove sealant from thread of reversing lamp switch (S16/2) and in transmission housing. Lightly coat thread of reversing lamp switch (S16/2) with sealant.

Install in the reverse order.
