Remove/install

1

Remove the ECU

Engine 410.950 in model 400.543/571/594/597 with transmission 400.730

Remove/install engine management control unit (MCM)

Remove the air hose connection port 13 (1) from gate module

 By using 19 mm open-end spanner.

 Installation: By using 19 mm open-end torque wrench.

Remove the counter shaft brake air inlet hose connection port 24 (2) from gate module

 By using 19 mm open-end spanner.

 Installation: By using 19mm open-end torque wrench.

Remove the gate shift cylinder (3) with solenoids from front housing

 Apply sealant on the sealing area of the transmission front housing.

 

Disassemble/assemble

Remove gate sensor (B61) (4) from intermediate plate

Remove O-ring (5) from gate sensor

 Installation: Use new O-ring.
Coat the new O-ring with synthetic grease.

Remove intermediate plate (6) from GS control unit

 Intermediate plate to GS control unit

Remove gasket (7) from GS control unit

 Installation: Use new gasket.
Coat with synthetic grease.

Remove the gasket (8) from gate shift cylinder housing

 Installation: Use new gasket.
Coat with synthetic grease.

Remove counter shaft brake solenoid (Y125) (9), gate 1 solenoid valve (Y33) (10), splitter 1 solenoid valve (Y29) (11), gate 2 solenoid valve (Y34) (12) and splitter 2 solenoid valve (Y30) (13)

Remove O-ring (14) from solenoid valves

 Installation: Use new O-ring.
Coat with synthetic grease.

Assemble in the reverse order

Install in the reverse order
