1 | Unscrew and remove the banjo bolts (1) and the pipes (3 and 14) from the cylinder | ||
2 | Unscrew the bolts (13) fastening the cylinder (11) and remove it | Remove, also, the sealing rings (9 and 10) | |
3 | Unscrew the fastening nut (8) and remove the piston (6) | The packing (7) will be removed simultaneously | |
4 | Remove the seal (5) | For this, utilize two screwdrivers supported on the housing | |

5 | Check the cylinder for damage or wear | Should damage or excessive wear be detected, the same will have to be replaced | |
| Installing | ||
6 | Assemble the seal (5) over the planetary group actuation rod (4) | Lubricate the same with petroleum jelly. Utilize the guide bushing to avoid seal damage | |

7 | Insert the seal (5) against stop in the housing | For this, utilize an appropriate mandrel | |
8 | Assemble the piston (6) and the packing (7) over the actuation rod (4) | When assembling the packing on the piston, grease it with petroleum jelly. Mount the assembly in the housing, observing that the recessed side of the piston has to point up | |

9 | Assemble the nut (8) of the piston (6) and tighten it to the specified torque | The fastening nut (8) may only be utilized twice, needing to be replaced next | |

10 | Assemble the sealing rings (9 and 10) in the cylinder (11) and assemble the cylinder in the housing | Lubricate the sealing rings (9 and 10) with petroleum jelly | |
Check the correct assembly position of the cylinder, observing the coincidence of the air passage holes (arrow). | |||

11 | Assemble the bolts (13) and the washers (12) | | |
12 | Assemble the pressure pipes (3 and 14) | Observe their correct position, avoiding swapping them |
