Danger | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | |
1 | Raise vehicle with vehicle lift | ||
2 | Undo bolts (1, 3) and push transmission bearing (2) to one side | ||
3 | Clean area surrounding oil filler screw (5) on transmission and remove oil filler screw (5) | Collect transmission oil which runs out in a suitable container. | |
4 | Unscrew oil drain screw (4) on transmission and drain transmission oil | Only drain transmission oil when transmission is at operating temperature. Collect transmission oil in suitable container. Allow transmission oil to drain completely. | |

5 | Tighten the oil drain screw (4) | Screw plug to transmission housing | |
6 | Add transmission oil and check oil level using suitable Allen wrench | ||

The oil level must be 2 to 5 mm below the lower edge of the oil filler opening. Adjust oil to correct level, if necessary. | |||

7 | Screw in oil filler screw (5) | Screw plug to transmission housing | |
8 | Position transmission bearing (2) and tighten using bolts (1, 3) | Replace bolts (1, 3). | |
