1 | Remove crossmember | ||
2 | Remove air duct insert on cooler (2) | ||
3 | Remove charge air hose from charge air cooler | ||
4 | Remove signaling horn | ||
Do not disconnect electrical connection. | |||
5 | Remove engine hood catch from lock carrier | ||
Do not remove engine hood cable. | |||
6 | Unlock locks (9) on cooler (2) | ||
7 | Tilt cooler (2) to the front slightly | While doing this unhook charge air hose from fan housing (3). | |
8 | Remove coolant hose (8) from fan housing (3) | Model 415 with engine 607 | |
9 | Mark assignment of electrical connections (4, 5) | ||
10 | Disconnect electrical connections (4, 5) | ||
11 | Remove electrical wiring harness (6) | Installation: Position electrical wiring harness (6) correctly. | |
12 | Remove coolant hoses (10) from fan housing (3) | ||
13 | Remove fan housing (3) | To this unlock fan housing (3) (arrows) and remove fan housing (3) with fan motor (M4/7) upwards. | |
14 | Remove fan motor (M4/7) from fan housing (3) | Only when replacing the fan housing (3) or the fan motor (M4/7). | |
To do this, remove bolts (7). | |||
15 | Install in the reverse order |
