Danger! | Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | |
1 | Place the vehicle on lifting platform | ||
2 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | Have second person secure hood. | |
3 | Disconnect ground cable of battery | ||
4 | Remove front part of noise encapsulation | ||
5 | Drain coolant | For this step unscrew bottom coolant hose (4) at radiator. | |
6 | Disconnect bottom oil line (3) of transmission oil cooling at radiator | Collect escaping transmission oil and seal connections Installation: Use new sealing rings. | |

7 | Detach clamps at bottom side of electric fan | ||
8 | Unscrew bolts at electric suction fan engine and AC with integrated control (M4/7) on bottom right and left | ||
9 | Detach coupling at electrical connector (2) of fan | ||
10 | Disconnect power supply circuit 30 (1) at electric fan | ||
11 | Unclip wiring harness from bracket | ||
12 | Disconnect top coolant hose (6) at radiator | Installation: Use new sealing rings. | |
13 | Remove top oil line (5) at radiator | Collect escaping transmission oil and seal connections | |
Installation: Use new sealing rings. | |||
Set of plugs | |||
14 | Remove electric suction fan engine and AC with integrated control (M4/7) toward top | ||
15 | Install in the reverse order |
