Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.
| Slowly open cooling system cap (1), release pressure and then cooling system cap (1) | If corrosion present at cooling system cap (1), it must be replaced.
| Check vacuum valve for cooling system cap (1) | The vacuum valve must be resting against the rubber seal (arrow), it must be possible to lift it easily and it must spring back after being released.
| Check identification number on cap
| Attach double fitting (2) on tester (3)
| |||
| Screw cooling system cap (1) onto double fitting (2)
| Connect compressed air hose with tire inflation connection to the tester (3) and apply the opening pressure to the cooling system cap (1)
| Check pressure relief valve for cooling system cap (1) | Determine opening pressure of cooling system cap (1); replace cooling system cap (1) if necessary.
| Unscrew cooling system cap (1) on double fitting (2)
| Close cooling system cap (1) |
