1 | Remove front bumper | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) | Vehicles with AIR management control system with actuator motor | |
3 | Detach pneumatic line (2) from AIR management control system (3) | Vehicles with AIR management control system with actuator motor | |
4 | Unlock left and the right catch (4) and turn the AIR management control system (3) in the direction of the arrow | ||
5 | Drive out the AIR management control system (3) from the catches (5a) of the radiator (5) in the downward direction | If the AIR management control system (3) is replaced then only the air duct without actuator motor with number A 211 505 07 30 is available. In this case close the pneumatic line (2) with a rubber cap with the number A 604 070 02 55 and fix together with the electrical connector (1) by means of a cable tie. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and set coding to "Radiator shutters not installed" | When replacing the AIR management control system (3) with actuator motor by one without actuator motor | |
Coding takes place in the control unit menu Body signal acquisition and actuation module for front passenger Inert gas adaptation Read coding and alter if necessary. |
