 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove wheel and tire assembly at front right.

Remove front section of the fender liner in the front right fender.

Remove front bumper.

 Installation: Only install engine compartment paneling after a leak test.

Drain off coolant.

Remove coolant lines (2, 6) from the cooler (1) and seal openings with protective covers.

Remove wiring harness (4) from the bracket (5) and place to one side.

Remove air duct segment (3) from radiator support (7) and take out.


Carefully remove air duct segment (3).
Otherwise, damage to the catch tabs will occur.

Remove cooler (1) from the radiator support (7).

Install in the reverse order.
