7 Shaped rubber gasket

Remove/install

Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4)

Detach coolant hoses (3 and 6) at coolant thermostat (1)

Inspect condition of coolant hoses and screw clamp (5), replace if necessary. Replace collar clamps (4).

Unscrew bolts (2) at coolant thermostat (1)

Pay attention to different lengths of bolts.

Take off coolant thermostat (1) at cylinder head

Installation: Replace shaped rubber gasket (7), clean sealing surfaces. The coolant thermostat is integrated in the housing.

Install in the reverse order
