Removing

Remove poly-V belt

Disconnect electrical connector at the thermostat (R48/1)



Measure

Connect the multimeter (2) along with the adapter lines (1) to the thermostat (R48/1)



Measure resistance

 If the measurement value of the thermostat (R48/1) does not match the standard value, a new coolant thermostat must be installed.
