Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove fan shroud

Loosen bolts (3)

Remove poly-V belt

Remove bolts (3) and belt pulley (2)

Remove bolts (4, 5) and coolant pump (1)

Collect coolant in a suitable container.

Installation: Clean sealing surface on coolant pump (1) and on timing case cover.

Replace gasket (6).

Install in the reverse order
