1 | Remove rear engine compartment flap | ||

Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. | |
2 | Drain and collect coolant | ||

3 | Remove coolant hose (1) | Installation: Check clamps (2) and coolant hose (1) for damage; replace if necessary. | |
4 | Remove coolant inlet fitting (3) | | |
5 | Take off coolant thermostat (5) together with sealing rings (6) | Installation: Grease new sealing rings (6) and put in place. The arrow on the coolant thermostat (5) must point upwards. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order |
