Low-temperature circuit switchover valve

 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove left front wheel and tire assembly.

Remove front section of left front fender liner.

Drain off coolant.

Release and disconnect electrical connector at low-temperature circuit switchover valve (3).

Remove bolts (1).

Remove coolant lines (2) at low-temperature circuit switchover valve (3) and seal openings using suitable protective covers.

Install in the reverse order.
