 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove engine cover.

Remove charge air cooler.

Remove electrical wiring harness from the bracket for the refrigerant compressor (1).

Remove vacuum lines from the bracket for the refrigerant compressor (2).

Remove bracket (3) for the refrigerant compressor.

 Pay attention to different lengths of screw/bolts.

 Bolt, refrigerant compressor bracket to crankcase/major assembly carrier/engine support/cylinder head

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) on the oil spray nozzle shutoff valve (Y131).

Remove oil spray nozzle shutoff valve (Y131).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (5).

 Mount, oil control valve for splash-oil cooling

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary.


