Remove/install shutoff valve for oil spray nozzles

 Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing engine oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove coolant pump.

Disconnect electrical connector at shutoff valve (1).

Remove shutoff valve (1).

 For this purpose, remove shutoff valve (1). Collect escaping oil with suitable rag.

 Seal opening at crankcase and shutoff valve (1) with suitable stop plug.

 Installation: Check sealing ring.

If sealing ring is damaged,



Replace sealing ring.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check engine oil level.


The engine oil level must not lie above the maximum marking.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

If engine oil level is not correct,



Correct engine oil level.


