Remove/install

Remove oil pan

Remove oil suction pipe (1) from crankcase; to do this unscrew bolts (2)



Remove the oil pump (3) from the crankcase; to do this unscrew bolts (4, 5)



Press the chain tensioner (6) to the back, remove oil pump chain (7) from oil pump gear (8) and take out oil pump (3) together with oil suction pipe (1)

 Installation: Before installing, fill oil pump (3) with engine oil, so that it delivers oil immediately when first started.



Checking

Check oil pump gear (8) for damage

Install new oil pump (3) if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
