Remove the tensioning rail

When removing the tensioning rail, the TDC marking on the belt pulley (3) is adjusted with respect to the positioning edge of the timing case cover (arrow A). The crankshaft must not be twisted any more.

Remove sliding rail from timing case cover

Press the chain tensioner of the oil pump chain (1) all the way to the stop and secure with a drift having Ø 3.5 mm through the bore (arrow B)

Unscrew bolts (2) and remove the chain tensioner of the oil pump chain (1)

Install in the reverse order
