Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Detach battery ground line

Open hood

Remove poly-V belt

Raise vehicle

Unlock electrical line connector for circuit 61 (D+) at alternator (G2) and detach

Detach cap (1), unscrew nut and remove electrical line for terminal 30 (B+) from alternator (G2)

 Nut, terminal designation B+ to alternator

Remove lower bracket (2); to do this remove screw/bolts (3)

 Bolt, alternator/bracket to alternator bracket

Remove upper bracket (4); to do this remove screw/bolts (5)

 Bolt, alternator/bracket to alternator bracket

Take out alternator (G2) down to the right

Install in the reverse order
