1.2 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | Only on vehicles without code (I01) Air conditioning Plus or Code (I77) Manual AC | |
2.1 | Remove refrigerant compressor | Only for vehicles with Code (I01) Air conditioning Plus or Code (I77) Manual AC | |

3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) | ||
4 | Unscrew bolt (2) | | |
5 | Pull out crankshaft position sensor (L5) | Installation: Replace sealing ring at crankshaft position sensor (L5). | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||

7 | Conduct engine test run and check engine around crankshaft position sensor (L5) for leaks | ||
8 | Read fault memory, erase if necessary | ||
