Remove and install

Indications on self-locking bolts and nuts

Switch-off the ignition

Loosen the connection (2) of the temperature sensor before the reduction catalytic converter (1)

Only remove the temperature sensor when replacing the catalytic converter.

Loosen the connection (3) of the temperature sensor after the reduction catalytic converter (1)

Only remove the temperature sensor when replacing the catalytic converter.

Loosen the NOx sensor connection of the reduction catalytic converter (1)

Only remove the NOx sensor when replacing the catalytic converter.

Slacken the exhaust pipe flange fastening bolts (5)

Place the lifting device (10) under the reduction catalytic converter (1)

Utilize an adequate lifting device (10).

Remove the exhaust pipe flange fastening bolts (5)

Remove the fastening nuts (7) from the SCR catalytic converter mount (1) on the side rail bracket (6), on both sides

Using the lifting device (10), carefully lower the reduction catalytic converter (1) and remove it

Ensure the catalytic converter against falls utilizing a tier strap (9).

Install in reverse order
