Open engine compartment flap

Remove V-belt

Remove poly V-belt (1)

To release the tension of the tensioning device (2) insert a locking handle into the square (arrow) and swivel the tensioning arm to the left .
Do not kink the poly V-belt (1).

Check

Check condition of poly-V-belt (1)

A worn or damaged poly V-belt (1) should be replaced against a separate order.

Inspect poly V-belt for wear and damage

Check tensioning device (2) for signs of damage and wear

A damaged or worn tensioning device (2) should be replaced against a separate order:

Replace the tensioning device of the poly-V-belt

Inspect reversing device for damage and wear

A damaged or worn reversing device should be replaced against a separate order:

Replace the reversing device of the poly-V-belt

Install

Install poly-V-belt (1)

To release the tension of the tensioning device (2) insert a locking handle into the square (arrow) and swivel the tensioning arm to the left. Ensure the poly V-belt (1) is seated correctly on the belt pulley and check the secure installation of the reversing device and the tensioning device (2).
