Remove engine compartment flap in vehicle interior

Remove engine compartment flap

In engine compartment, remove charge air hose (1) on charge air cooler air inlet (2)

Open side and rear engine compartment flaps

Remove charge air hose (3) on charge air cooler (4)

Unscrew upper bolts (5) of bracket for charge air cooler (4)

The bolts can be reached through the engine compartment and are located above the water radiator.

Unscrew lower bolts (6) from charge air cooler (4) and remove charge air cooler

Installation: Take note of correct position of spacer sleeves and washers.

Install in the reverse order
